So often our health journey somehow starts with a child. We want to provide them with the best so they can grow healthy and strong. We get into research and discover a whole new world of health that we now want to be part of.
Whatever change you’d like to make I encourage you to remember:
- Healthy food choices start with the parents. We can’t really expect them to be an isolated island that has its own healthy rules while we continue to eat in a totally different way. It all starts within the family.
- Change is hard, even if that’s the change that will make your life easier in the end. Make kids your partners, let them be a part of the creative process and that will make it a lot easier.
- Your relationship with your family and kids is the most precious thing. Remember it if things get tough.
- Find joy in all you are trying to achieve. Take it slow, make it fun. It’s your journey and you go through it at your own pace. You get to decide what stapes you are going to take. So make them the ones you enjoy.
